i've seen songs floating around hype machine and always loved what I heard, but after christmas in germany and extensive music sharing between siblings I bought gorilla manor on itunes... highly recommend it!

(a) i would really like blogging this much
(b) that i would blog from an airport floor. yet here i am, at SFO, waiting for lufthansa to get their scheiße together. ridic. i've already been lucky enough to witness two of my favorite standard german body types...
(1) cold, rigid pregnant woman with pixie hair cut that makes her look more masculine than her husband,
(2) the german drinker: skinny legs, skinny arms, svelte figure all around minus the belly. oh, that belly. whaaat a belly.

i leave for ze motherland tomorrow. this means schwester time (finally), seeing my lil brodo, hugging my mama and seeing the rest of meine familie... i am ecstatic and feel blessed to be going. i will, however, miss my lovely city by the bay & for that reason i must spend one. last. night. out. with my favorites♥

love this song, it brings me back to high school..

 (or middle school?) ..and has a great calming effect.

today i was sharing some beautiful german quotes (very poorly translated might I add) about life, death and love with a certain SM. i know people say german is not a pretty language, but i disagree. i think it has a certain way of summarizing great thoughts in a very concise manner. this makes sense as it would be considered 'efficient' and that is, after all, what us germans are all about... enjoy :)
